I passed my interview and have been accepted into the EPIK program (http://www.epik.go.kr/index.asp). This means I should be in Korea by August. I am still waiting to hear back from TaLK which is another government sponsored program to see if I was accepted to that one as well. There are many benefits to going through the EPIK program, which can be compared to the JET program in Japan. Too many to list actually.
I also picked up my f-4 visa today, which was a lot easier to obtain than I had anticipated. This basically grants me citizenship in Korea so long as I renew it every two years.
Next step - FedEx some documents, review the contract, arrange a flight.
Nothin' to it mayne!
